The Liga de Béisbol Profesional de la República Dominicana (LIDOM) has unveiled a new structure for the statistics section of its official website. The change aims to give fans, media, team operations staff and analysts a clearer, more complete and more interactive way to look up information.
The platform brings together statistics, standings, results, schedule, teams and a comparator in one place. With this tool, users can pit a pitcher against a batter to see how they have performed in their head-to-head matchups.
The portal also lets users follow live games and review each player's offensive record, with game-by-game performance information for the season. Users can also explore batting, pitching and fielding statistics, apply filters by season, team and position, and choose between standard and expanded views.
Among the additional options, the site allows users to download information and consult a glossary of the championship's main metrics. Daily rosters are also available for download.
With this update, the LIDOM continues to expand its digital resources. The portal is available at lidom.com/estadisticas.
