Key points
- Duluc is returning to the show "Divertido con Jochy."
- She misses good speech and respect for the generations who paved the way.

- She doesn't rule out a return to TV or YouTube, as long as it's her own space.
Georgina Duluc is back on one of the stages that marked her career in Dominican television. In an interview with El Nacional, she said her return to "Divertido con Jochy" means much more than a guest appearance: it is a chance to reconnect with her audience and show that traditional television still has a lot to offer.
"Going back to 'Divertido con Jochy' is like coming home, being around the people who love me, who support me, who believe in me," she said. Duluc also valued the chance to learn from and share the stage with new talent.
Looking back, she recalled what she considers the golden age of Dominican television. What she misses most, she said, is good speech, the quality of the language, and the presence of mentors willing to guide those just starting out in the media. She cited Mariasela Álvarez, Jatnna Tavarez, Tania Báez, Freddy Beras Goico, Jochy Santos and Milagros Germán as figures who gave her important lessons and advice over the course of her career.
She also criticized the way, in her view, younger generations relate to those who have spent years in the media. "I miss that respect, I miss the prominence that should be given to a generation that has already been through what you can't even imagine you'll go through, and the lack of respect really bothers me," she said.
Although she is enjoying this new stage, Duluc does not rule out coming back with a project of her own. She noted that most of the projects she has developed in her career were her own initiatives, and she left open the possibility of returning to television or digital platforms such as YouTube, on one condition: "I would eventually come back, it could be on TV, it could be on YouTube, but it would have to be something of mine, of course."
With experience in hosting, theater, film and producing her own programs, the broadcaster believes she still has much to explore in entertainment. "There is a lot of road ahead, there are still many things to do, and I have the spirit, the strength and the willingness to do them," she concluded.
