Dominican singer and songwriter Gabriel Pagán has begun his participation in the 2026 University Tour, a series of stops at universities across the Dominican Republic from October through December. The goal is to reach young audiences through his music.
The performances will take place at academic centers in Santo Domingo, Santiago and San Francisco de Macorís, turning campuses into venues where music and the student community come together.
The first stop was October 22 at the Universidad Católica Nordestana (UCNE) in San Francisco de Macorís. Next come the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU) in Santo Domingo and, on November 4, the Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago (UTESA). On November 19 he will perform at Universidad APEC (UNAPEC), and on November 25 at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD), in an event against violence against women. On November 27 he will be at Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), during the closing of Mercadexpo, and on December 3 at the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC).
A stop at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) is listed as tentative for a date between November 6 and 17, still unconfirmed.
With this tour, Pagán aims to reach new generations in academic spaces beyond traditional concerts and to promote Dominican music among students.
